Internship Programs in Bali

4 Weeks Marketing Internship for New Developed Nutritionist Company in Canggu

"Being in Bali as an intern has taught me that it’s all about who you know and how you present yourself" Mallory, Communications study, Rutgers The State University of New Jersey

My role as an intern

My main role as an intern was to maintain social media accounts like Instagram with daily posts, tips, hashtags, to make the page and the account easily reachable to more clientele as well as aesthetically pleasing for new visitors/potential/existing clients. In addition, I offered many tips and business tactics via email that focus specifically on how to digitally market and brand Sarah’s company better to gain and keep relationships with future clients.

I also helped maintain alliances/relationships with local cafes/restaurants like Drifter Cafe, Coffee Cartel, and CousCous Cafe by taking pictures of their restaurant/food, editing them, and distributing them to my supervisor as well as they restaurant that hosted me. This allow gives the company some stock of photos to use for the social media pages that align with its core values and attitudes for the company. I have also distributed business cards in local restaurants, businesses to help spread the word on the company’s work and help gain more clients.

First impressions are everything especially for any business!

I think future interns should focus specifically on maintaining a huge social media presence. Being in Bali and to be able to intern in this field has taught me that it’s all about who you know and how you present yourself. First impressions are everything especially for any business! I also was not able to focus on a lot of the company's other information pamphlets/cards online on Canva due to my computer breaking on my arrival. So I think that should also be a priority. Finally, I think the upcoming interns should prepare things like captions, hashtags, photo content, and think of new innovative ways to reach more clientele online.
